I also really like the hollow steel axle - that's a nice touch. Stoked to build this
The carbon in the kit is fantastic btw.
Very good quality.

When is Roche going to release the proto type front shock mount the euro team drivers used at the last ETS race. Was it a improvement in the cars performance?

Are you talking about the damper system for the xenon front end on the P-12?

If so you can buy those already at rcmarket in Hongkong. But they are sold out.

Ahh I see the front mount for the center shock. I thought you meant in the front suspension. Lol. I'm trying to figure out what it does because it looks like it's mounted in the same place. The shock rod end looks different and longer as well.

Thats what i was talking about the front of thr rear shock mount .
I like a lengthing the rear shock it gives it better leverage. It may not do anything in reality but reality is over rated!
The front shock mount is 10mm forward to my eye balls.

According to Redrc :
"Olivier Bultynck is here in Trencin running a Rapide Formula equipped with a number of prototype parts. Fitted with front and rear MonTech wings and an optional 2.25mm thick chassis plate, his car features new damper tube link positions as well as a new battery brace with a more forward positioned shock link which makes the shock longer. The front upper and lower arms are also 1mm shorter so as to make the front end 2mm narrower. "

I used some of the extra chassis holes and added 2 standoffs and a brace over the top of the ESC and reciever then changed shocks.
The shock is approx. 1.25" longer

By adding the stamdoffs to the front and i assume you built a complete upper deck over the esc and it gave you room to install the shock extension do to your cars handling?. It sounds like a very good idea to give the shock a solid foundation and taking flex out of the equation in damper support.
I tried to find this race on google so i could see the performance of Ollie's car. The prevous ETS i was able to find. If any of you do find it would you please post it.
If you would post a picture of your car i would love to see your work.

I just added a graphite brace from standoff to standoff.
Car feels more responsive.

This is Oliver's best run. Really impressive having in mind its Jan Ratheisky's generally hometrack on which X1 has been developed...
