What I'm currently doing and everyone at 5280 that owns a Roche F1 now has done this and seen an improvement. Remove the 1 mm shims from the front link mount point and place them under the rear pivot ball assembly. Effectively raising the rear pod 1mm. Makes the car rotate better from the rear. When the grip is high I also only dope the center of the rear tire. About the width of the SXT dauber which is about 60-70% of the tire.

This car has been very dominate at 5280 since Kyle and I started running it here.
Thanks for the tip and will give it a try. I will be sure to see you and Kyle when I come up for the MHIC race in April for any set-up help. Need to keep Mario and Dumper honest with their CRC's.

So the pod is 1mm higher than the chassis?

Yes, as Mike mentioned all Pivot balls raised. You'll need to adjust the rear axle height so the rear pod is flat.

By adding 1 mm shims under the 2 screws that hold the pivot ball assembly in place but not the pivot ball screw itself will raise everything on the rear pod.

I ran my car this weekend on low grip carpet and had to remove this change as it made the rear of the car slide around or rotate to much. Proving that in very high grip conditions, like those on Black CRC carpet, this change is really good.

Mafodda,

Sorry as mentioned in the previous post i changed my car back to normal this weekend. Want to do a little testing in it's current state before raising again. Here's a drawing marked up from the manual.

Russ i'm working on getting you a setup from someone that did well at Snowbirds who ran transverse battery.

I'll be at the track today and Sunday. Let me drive your car again. If all else fails glue the sidewalls.

Other than the Mon-Tech body, what body is common for CRC Black Carpet?

Which setup would you recommend as a starting point at 360v2?

Also, eta on aluminum chassis coming back in stock?
