Traxxas X01
Call me stupid but I really want a Traxxas X01.
I've nowhere to get it upto it's capable speed and even less talent to control it if I tried, youtube is full of people much more experienced than me trying and annihilating them into a millions pieces for trying but I'm still not put off
Just something about it, I love the aero setup with the belly pan and diffuser etc and it's technological advacement. It could make me a very nice ornament for the living room ( Like the mrs would allow that ).
Anyone had one just to bash about with the low speed gearing and enjoy etc? Basically someone try and talk me out of it

You will find that 90% of the time you will be driving under normal street conditions, and this car with its larger size actually allows for it. Most 1/10 touring cars get bounced around for any real fun on normal streets. Yes this car is capable of 100+ MPH, but it takes money, time, equipment, skill, and correct place to do this. I recon you will spend 95% of your time setting it up and 5% actually driving it at such high speeds.
In my opinion this car is perfect for normal fun driving. 10% setting up and 90% driving it. Have fun. Did I talk you out of it?

Quite the opposite actually lol.
I currently have a Schumacher Fusion 28 which is claimed to do 80mph and I've tried to give it everything she's got on several occassions but just end spinning at around 65-70mph so I know how specialist such speeds are for a hobbyist.
Hmm really fancying one now.
