Default Castle mamba max heat

I need help. I have a heat issue with the battery wires. Esc and motor temp real good. Heres the set up. Losii xxxs 104spur 28t pinion 64p. Mamba max pro castle 6900kv motor. Crc 5300 40c 2s. I know the motor is over kill but the equipment should handle it. When it heats up it glitches real bad and moves inches? What ya think?

What connectors you're using, and gauge wire you're using?

Battery connection or wires Think its normal, few degrees above body heat. I use deans also. Motor & ESC heat up excessively it'll start to thermal out, causing glitch. couple teeth on Ratio may help(lower). Or your cut off voltage on ESC set incorrectly. Set at 2s 6V, you may have it a higher voltage. If its thermal let it cool down, If its fine then, try pinion gear smaller 2-5 teeth.
