I built mine without any difficulties or issue without any of those mods.

Some pointers that concern me:

1)

grinding of rear driveshafts st02 to remove binding

2)

When mounting the bulkheads and motormount to the chassis, please use a reamer to make a very small chamfer on the small holes. The Pins on the bulkhead have a very small radius from milling, without the chamfer this radius might have contact with the chassis before the bulkhead is screwed fully tight and may not sit properly.

3)
Fitment issues with outdrive st23 pin02 and b106 bearing on the diff. grinding of some material from the b106 bearing is the solution.

Some modifications is ok ,but these problems are the one i really would like to avoid..
Is this problems from the past, or are people still modifying these areas on new kits ?

You really should be running anti roll bars on that track. It will help immensely.

Tried them, used to run 1.1 front and rear then tried 1.0, and the car works better without them as grip is very very low.

all of these items were work arounds for bad part runs. these bad fitting parts have been eliminated and anyone w/ them have had replacements sent.

Alloy Chassis+ vtd is more similar to 2.25 carbon + std top deck

I had kind of a weird defect today, has anyone experienced something similar?

On my first Final the rear was very loose and I had to drive slower and more cautious to finish the race. Fell from first to third, ouch! First I blamed the Volante tires because I had some problems in the past with them, but after the run I had to realize that the diff was fully locked! No movement at all.

Turned out one of the output axles (ST31) was stuck inside of the diff housing (AT124B). I had to use a hammer to drive it out and use a 4 mm file to widen the hole enough, so ST31 would fit without binding.

I hope that doesn't happen again.

This happened to me also, this due to the tolerance and afterwards coating, my second car did not experienced this problem because i put first grafiet into the hole and tested if it binds or not.
Do not forget to grease it before assembly, probably you did it already.

the setup needs work though. the bumps in that layout cost me many runs.

i'm trying a drilled out damper package now. 1.45mm holes and 3K asc. i think this might be a little too stiff. i will likely try 2K asc oil in the front.
