What are the items thats need to be break in for a brand new touring car other than motor and why.

The drivetrain, such as diffs and belts (if you have them).

Get a 2 cell battery pack and connect it to a old motor in the chassis, let it run till the battery dumps or use motor run-in on a charger and do the same for a few hours.

Soak the belts in WD40 overnight, then wipe them clean and re-install them. It will smooth them out a lot.
