Default Setup

Is there a site that has current setup info for these cars? CRC's site is outdated and there aren't any on petit rc.

Dumper posted this a while back. Great starting point. Tune to track/driving style from there.

trailing axle, short wheelbase
red or white center spring
10k or less in the tubes
.45 or blue side springs just touching
200mm rear track width
rear ride height you can go up to 6mm if needed to get it to turn

Does your setup vary from this? What body are you running? Did you get all of the bump steer out? Any info you can provide will help......

Hope that helps!

I'm gonna raise my rear height and give that a go.

Quick question for those that switched to the new GTR chassis, did it make a really big difference? I have the Gen X SE chassis. I think I'm going to convert back to foam since that is what it is designed for.

There's a kit at the track that is calling me name LOL

Any rule updates circulating? As in matching the power of WGTR to F1?

2S with 25.5T?

An old 13.5 with 1S or the newest low IR 17.5 with 1S matches the F1 setup exactly.

You need to try a Team scream or Motive MC2 motor.

Take a look at Snowbirds lap times. They were off by quite a bit, I'm sure they ran good motors. :-)
