just picked up a chassis finally. The front wheels are rubbing, what kind of shims are you using? My camber shims wont slide over the axle..

Hoping to get it running by end of weekend, (hopefully tomorrow)

Got the new McAllister Corvette today. Very nice. Gary has outdone himself again! Trying to decide on a livery now as the yellow Vettes are a bid overdone.

13.5 testing went well. The car snaps out a corner better so you can pass a little easier on very slow corners. Overall the fast laps aren't too much faster, maybe .5 seconds at best which reflects in the average speed. The car is a little harder to drive, but not ridiculous. In my opinion, the motor is not working nearly as hard and it is reflected in gearing choices. You'd guess the pinion would drop by 4 teeth or so. You'd be wrong. We went from 64P 92/43 and dropped down to 92/30 or so before the motor stopped trying accelerate all the way down the long straight. Timing between motors didn't change much, so just gear way down if you test. So the results are better, but not blistering acceleration. Faster, but marginally compared to top speed. You pay more in lost time for your mistakes, but have a chance to drive back up the field. And the number one improvement, you can actually pass in one corner and get back in the racing line.
