You will have it in plenty of time for Summer Slam. If you want one, get it on order........

How can we order? Should I get Michael Bruce from Superior to order for me?

We are going to give 13.5 a try on our large medium high grip carpet track. We have been finding lately that when you get behind, you stay behind. We've all dialed in our cars and the finishing order is dependent on one or two mistakes for a whole race. One and you're done, no driving back to the front here. Again, this isn't to take away from anyone else's program, just our findings locally. Smaller tracks, less motor is perfect. Last night in testing the 13.5 only accounted for .5 seconds average on a 15 second avg. a lap track. The car finally developed a little push and passing was possible again. We ended up agreeing that the equation for us is more power than traction. Not insane levels, but enough to force a minor error, push past or overdrive a corner and to be able to pass as there was no speed differential. For larger events we may travel to, it's up to the host to decide. I'm happy racing this class.

In trying to develop interest locally, the (lack of) speed has been a common complaint. Common to the point I haven't been able to get things going. Maybe with a 13.5 there will be more interest. We'll see.

Let us know how it works out, I've been wondering about this too.

I've run 13.5t against TC cars on an asphalt track and really liked how the car drove for all reasons posted above. WGT has always been 13.5t in the past so why not keep it the same for WGT-R? This should be especially true for open tracks.

I really don't have a preference on motors, I like the 17.5's indoors on our indoor track. Outdoors I agree with trying 13.5's.

I see no reason to change the rules to 13.5 across the board. Let tracks make the adjustment. I think Dumper & his guys did a good ob creating the class. I do like it as an option though. If it changes one day I'm good either way.

I have some of those on backorder with Tower Hobbies. Originally expected in July, now it's order pending.

With HPI finally selling, I'm hoping that availability of their products will improve soon.
