Questions?? What to do with old mounted tires

Curious what other people do with their old worn out tires/wheels. I have quite a collection piling up, and would really rather not throw them in the trash for environmental reasons. Anyone know if these materials are recyclable?

Guys in my club glue four of them together in a diamond shape and use them as car stands.
One track in Europe I visited years ago had a tonne tied together to make scale tire walls at their track. As for recycling I think you would have to separate the rubber from the wheel and recycle each seperatly

If the wheels are in good shape, I usually reuse them.

If not, I use them on my private track as crash bumpers like on a road course.

Yes I'm assuming they are recyclable.

Why not sell the usable ones for cheap. Somebody who doesn't have that much budget might need them...

Just post the actual condition.

In that way you might be helping somebody.

With the S-grips on my mini, i go through a pair of fronts pretty quickly. I cut them open and re-use the inserts. With all the large event races I go to, i have so many sets of control tires. I usually pay these forward to new drivers at the club.

That is such a cool idea

That's a really good idea. I should just throw my still usable tires into a box and put a "Free" sign on them. Maybe someone will want to use them for practice or street bashing.
