Wicked cool. My most prized RC possession is Tamiya Super Champ NIB with the shrink wrap still on. No money in the world would make me part with it.

Anybody got something better?

I've had a ton of vintage tamiyas over time... Sand Scorchers, Rough Riders, CS series, about 20 Tamtechs a lot of 'm NIB. I found that I enjoy building them more than having them be NIB, so I sold all but a few.

Yeah, I just don't get it... What fun is having an old Tamiya sitting around in a box? On top of that, most of them were considered pieces of crap and toys like every other Tamiya for years following (til recently).

owch... that's gotta hurt!!

I managed to score about 20 Tamtech F1 kits in Holland around 1999/2000 sometime. I think that, including shipping to California, I ended up paying about 30 bucks a set. Sold 'm all on the 'bay for between 150 and 200

Also still have a bunch of the vintage bodysets somewhere...

Thumbs up

If anyone knows of where I could find and Associated 12i, I'd love to own the first R/C car I ever had...and if someone knows of an Associated monoshock/independent front end kit that was offered for it as an aftermarket, I'd buy that too...

This is different hobby. They are collectors. I even exchange my first car used TA-01 Celica Rally with Team Muchmore Cell Master NIB. To me, it's an advantage. Same as my friend, he is happy with the exchange. Mutualism. .

I also know where there is a Delta 1/12th mono shock frontend completely built. It's just the way I took it of my car. I do have an old Associated 1/12th but I'm not sure what it is?It presently has the Delta diff on it.

I have an old RC12i and a brand new 12I chassis with the front mono-shock (never used) but I am not going to part with it yet. I have some great vintage 1/12 cars: Leisure car, RC12e, and all 3 Delta 1/12 cars..... but they are not for sale. I would like to get my hands on one of the old MRP cars from the '80s.
