The T.R.C wheels won't work if you want to maintain the proper track width. Cutting the wheels will only make the track narrower. You'll have to use either Jaco or Yokomo wheels.

Speaking of rims and tires... Is there a good plaace online to get the stock Yokomo rims? I am finally going to get to run mine for the first time tomorrow. The set up on it seems soft compared to my old 6 pack set up but I am looking forward to trying it. I did mount TRC purple & gray tires so the thing should be dialed!

If you find any Yok wheels online, let us all know. I got mine thru HK, 10 months wait. Yokomo Japan didn't want to export them at all. Good luck!

What is the color of the rims? Are they sort of beige color? I got a pack that I can't even find a good set. So I end up buying Jaco instead. I tried Yokomo tyre set and they seems to wear out very fast. I think they are more for carpet than asphalt.

I love this car a lot. This is my first 12th scale and I also end up getting the YRX-2000 (older version) of Pro 10. I can't afford the SSG version of Pro10 because they cause more than USD780.

Since there are so many inquiries about them, I'll just post pics w/ the original packaging, just in case if you really want to find them with the correct part numbers.

Default need help

HI everyone, I just tried out mine new YRX-12WE. This is mine first 12th scale RC. I have run thru a few problem with this car and I hope someone can help me out on it.

First of all, the kingpin shim came with the car have 2 size, 5 of them are 0.010" and 3 of them are 0.005~0.008". I have replace 0.005" with 0.010" shims. Is that the correct size?
Secondly, if I shim it as the instruction sugguested, the kingpin will scrap the wheel. I have to put all 4 shims on top of upper A arm to get front wheel to spin freely. Now here comes the real problem, mine car will roll to the left when I'm off throttle and to the right when accelerating. I had check for tweaks and correct it to mine best ability but it still behaves the same. Does this handling characteristic result of 4 shims on top of the upper A arms? If not, what can I do to correct it? Thank you in advance.

I always put the shims on top of every car I've had. It does not hurt anything. I built my YRX front end according to the instructions & had the same issue. I ended up using .22 springs up front on mine because it had too much steering for me on carpet. Just the way I run my cars. I am still tinkering with my set up. I hope to get it where I had my 6 pack.

One more thing! I just used the Associated shims. I just assume that they are all the same thickness. I'd ditch the yokomo shims and put in Associated ones.

Skid Marks has one, pretty much box stock.

I have tried 4 different setups in 4 different races (same track layout), and just ran my personal best race this past weekend with this setup so I'm sticking to it from now on.

Active caster block up front (equal shims front and back)
20 front springs
Green rear spring
Stock oil
.075 AE t-plate
2 degree negative camber
0 toe
Purple fronts, grey rears
43mm front tires, 45 rears
3.5mm ride height
