MOTIV M-Code motors, now MC2 for 2017, come pre-set to perform well in most applications. Each MOTIV M-Code motor comes with a specification check list specific to that individual motor. Following are some suggested starting points for the MC2 line of motors for each class (we will update/add to this as often as possible). One key piece to pay attention to when adjusting your motor is Amp Draw. Try to keep spec motors around 3.0.

how good is your battery if your battery is old you will lack punch get a new battery with 100c and try it again

i was reading the wiki above it is says the 17.5 is for a tc or 1/12. is there one that could/should be used for 1/10 2wd buggy?

Motiv doesn't have "class" specific motors listed, but utilizing the Contact Us page on the site will allow you to purchase a motor purpose built for what class you desire. In this case, I'd denote the class you plan on running, and ask for an S-High rotor. The timing will then be preset where it would be recommended to run at.

The wiki is just a suggested starting point for the classes that are listed. If a class is not listed, it's just because I don't have info for that class. I'll work on getting that from Paul and others who have run them. Didn't intentionally skip any classes, sorry.

The motors work very well in 2wd off-road. I only have a S-mid rotor in mine with timing set around 45 degrees. I can't imagine how much faster I could crash my car, my reflexes are getting slower, if I had a S-high rotor.
