NEW FOR 2017 - MC2!

MOTIV M-Code motors, now MC2 for 2017, come pre-set to perform well in most applications. Each MOTIV M-Code motor comes with a specification check list specific to that individual motor. All MOTIV M-Code spec motors come standard with the new "S-HIGH" rotor. If you prefer a different rotor, please send an email via the "Contact Us" page on the Motiv site and reference your order.

Motiv dealers in the U.S. that have received MC2s are:

ProLevel RC
Fordham Hobbies
Lefthander RC
TQ RC Racing
Activ RC
Gripworks RC
Stormer Hobbies
AMain Hobbies
NorCal Hobbies

& More - Check your local hobby shop!

“Defy” Series Pro Li-Po battery weights

I didn't see where the race results broke down what manufacturers finished where. I figure it would be nice to know since the TSR thread is always full of how their guys finished.

Im not 100% sure on large contingent of 21.5's but do know there were some heavy hitters running it. 17.5 were by in large the biggest for Motive 25.5 TC too. 25.5 F1 is being worked on now but was shown to be very competitive and in the hunt. There will be a difference for 25.5 between TC and F1.

The 21.5 motiv was in a few A-main TC cars.
Atleast 1 21.5 was in usgt
The winning 25.5tc was using a new motiv
17.5 if it was a x-ray ...It had a motiv I'm 95% sure

Hey guys, just getting somewhat settled in from Birds so I'll try to answer what I can.

21.5 should be available in shops soon. I know Paul sent out as many as he could before Birds, and has 300 more motors he is working on getting out to shops now that he is home.

I would imagine you'll see them on any online shop that carries Motiv products. Hobbyshops that placed orders early should also be receiving them. I know several shops already have sold out of their initial orders.

I don't know of everyone as I'm just a driver but I know Jan Rathiesky, myself, Craig Xavier, Drew Ellis, Eric Anderson and Luke Pittman all ran them in 17.5 TC. Jan won, I placed 2nd there. Luke Pittman podiumed with the MC2 in 21.5 TC. Craig X and I ran it in 17.5 1/12, X placed 2nd with it. Eric and Luke ran it in 13.5 1/12. Victor Kao TQ'ed and won 25.5 TC with the MC2.

Got a 21.5 MC2 coming in. Any recommendations on timing and gearing for USGT? (100-120ft straight)
Trying to get some info from Luke on what he ran in 21.5 TC. I'd imagine it would be a good starting point for you in USGT.

Yup, Luke Pittman placed 3rd with it in 21.5 TC. I don't think we had anyone racing it in USGT but I could be wrong.

There were 5 Xray T4's in the 17.5 TC A. 4 of them were Motiv, the other was Trinity.

The MC2 comes standard with the new high rotor. The old M-Code rotors work in the MC2 and are approved to run in the MC2 if you are looking for something with less torque. The new high rotor has the Motiv logo laser etched in the magnet, similar to how the Scream rotor is marked.

Hope this helps!

I was just informed that Monti Panzica ran the MC2 in every class except 17.5 1/12. Sorry Monti.

So that's another 21.5 TC podium for the MC2 and one also for 13.5 1/12! Great Job Monti!

Could you PM me please. I'm kind of a hater and I want to make sure I get one first, lol.

Just kidding. To much time in an office, so I think I'm funny.

Most guys at NorCal run r1 or team powers. Its a great feeling knowing you have a competitive motor against team sponsored motors.

Great to hear you guys are liking the MC2 so far! Also happy to provide help whenever I can.

I am going to work on gathering some timing and gearing info from the guys that attended Snowbirds and get that info posted here hopefully in the next week or so. This should be good also for those planning to attend the ROAR Carpet Nats at 360V2 in March. Personally I would start 1 tooth higher than our Snowbirds settings for the size of 360V2.

I also wanted to mention that the MC2 used by Victor Kao to TQ and win 25.5 TC at Birds was equipped with the standard 12.3mm rotor that comes with the 25.5 MC2. I learned yesterday that it was actually legal to run a 12.5 rotor in that class there, and several other racers were running them. Impressive effort by Victor & Paul!

that 12.3 rotor in the 25.5 is strong. tried to run it in F1 but not good in F1 Paul and I are working on a good system for F1. FYI is great in TC but hold off for F1.
