NEW FOR 2017 - MC2!

MOTIV M-Code motors, now MC2 for 2017, come pre-set to perform well in most applications. Each MOTIV M-Code motor comes with a specification check list specific to that individual motor. All MOTIV M-Code spec motors come standard with the new "S-HIGH" rotor. If you prefer a different rotor, please send an email via the "Contact Us" page on the Motiv site and reference your order.

Motiv dealers in the U.S. that have received MC2s are:

ProLevel RC
Fordham Hobbies
Lefthander RC
TQ RC Racing
Activ RC
Gripworks RC
Stormer Hobbies
AMain Hobbies
NorCal Hobbies

& More - Check your local hobby shop!

I did weigh both my M-code and MC2. They were withing a few grams (-5) of each other. Sorry I do not recall the weights. At the time the MC2 did not have solder on the tabs. So I went about my day.

Yes, the MC2 is a great motor. It can compete with the TSR. There were a few of us who had them at Hudy. EA, Juca, Leeman and myself had them in 17.5 TC. I don't know who had them in 1/12 scale.

My mcode 17.5 was 159 grams.
I weight one of my customer mc2 motors and it was around 152 grams
What I find interesting is the stack measured over 21mm, so is short stack no longer the it thing?

Wow, 21mm seems large. If I remember correctly 19.3mm is what my D4 short stacks measure.

Just received my MC2 in the mail today and the fit and finish are top notch! Numbers on the test sheet look very impressive and the damn thing feels like a mod motor. I'll be trying it out next weekend.

how are people receiving these motors if they are listed as out of stock on their site, with no ability to backorder or preorder?

I'm pretty sure that they are being tested by the team drivers so that when available they can answer questions about it

I hope the sensor boards are more robust than the V1. Never great when a 3 run old motor kills a sensor board and you can't get them over here.

It also set the fastest laps of the week in tc 17.5 by .15. And ran stronger at the end. Could run same laps last min as first min.
