need a new charger
looking to get a new charger since my charger took a crap on me. looking for something with a built in power supply and preferably a motor run feature. i was looking at these two chargers:
http://integy.automated-shops.com/cg...58105142242.7b
http://integy.automated-shops.com/cg...58105142242.7b
both priced the same. any other chargers out there you guys like? i like the first one cuz its a lot smaller. i dont want a turbo cuz they are huge. something 250 or less. i also heard novak was coming out with a new charger similar to the 1st integy charger. does anybody have any info on it?

Any resason why you want the built-in power supply? Otherwise, for $250 budget, you can have a lot more possibilities (even with the extra cost of an external power supply). Otherwise, I'm not sure you can beat the Integy chargers when it comes to chargers with built-in power supplies.
Of the two, the 16X8v6 looks to be the better value (with Li-Po charging, a built-in dyno, and 30 amp discharge).

Between the 2 the 16x8 is the new kid. It can do Li-Po and has the dyno features built in. It also has a higher discharge rate than the 16x9 and th X8 is smaller. But the 16x9 has a built in 14 amp power supply that can be used to power other devices. The 16X9 also has the ability for U to store upto 10 different charge/discharge profiles. I'm not sure if the 16x8 can or not. I have a 16X9 and have had no probelm's with it, but I'm also planning on buying the 16x8 because I need another charger and I like the higher discharge rate it has and the motor run function. j/m .02

i want a built in power supply cuz of the size convenience. the 16x8 is relatively small as compared to a lot of other chargers, and the power supply is built in. sure the turbo does everything, but that thing is big. ive had one and its a pain carrying that and a power supply around. i also like the pulsar competition cuz it does a lot. if i can find one of those cheap and a power supply, i might just do that. what other chargers were u guys thinking of? give me a good combo of charger, p/s.

What about the Duratrax Intellipeak ICE like 129.00 from Tower then you can get the Power Supply and all the features you want.

I highly recommend investing in a good power supply. The newest power supply from Pyramid is the PSV-200. It is a 20A switching power supply, and it's only $55. I use this power supply and all I can say is that it is plain awesome.
You can get it here: http://www.buyreliant.com/psupplies/psv200.htm

I would look into the APS Dyno Charge S3. They improved on the older version with added step charging features. This also has a motor checker built in and a temperature probe. For the money, its an awesome charger. The Much More Racing Cell master is also an awesome charger. The only thing that I don't like about it is it doesnt have the motor run in feature like the Dyno charge.
