Running wide-offset wheels on 200mm touring car?
I've been having stability problems with my RS4, and it got me wondering if I could put wider-offset wheels on it to improve its stability. Obviously just attaching wheels with a 3mm or even 6mm offset is no problem, but finding a body that would fit is more problematic. Does anyone make 210mm touring car bodies?

To correct stability issues I recommend a complete suspension check. Check the following:
1) check all suspension parts for excessive play. 2) check and refill shocks if needed. 3) check all bearings/replace if needed. 4) if you have a setup board, check droop settings, camber, toe, caster and tweak settings. 5) check that your car tracks straight: center your steer nuetral setting/front tires so the car goes straight. And finally, check that you have the right tires for your track.

One thing that I experienced always I use offset wheels or hex spacing the wheel is, that it gives a less precise feeling of the car. For example the steering is just less on rails.
But I don't think it will change your laptimes very much
