I've used Hpi bodies on my Vaterras. And factory body holes lined up. Don't think I tried a Vaterra body on mine.
A change of tires and possibly trimming on front bumper. Want to say it should fit. But just can't be sure.

Reason is because there a Vaterra body I really want, but not sure if it will fit on the Sport 3.

Dont want to spend the extra cash and have it go to waste.

Thanks Billy!

I looked back at old video to see if I tried it. Didn't find anything. So I just can't be 100 percent sure. When I changed body. I first used a Hpi Viper. Then when I changed tires I used the Subaru body from the brushed Sport3.

Which Vaterra body?

Sounds good. I used to let a neighbors Shepard puppy chase one of mine. Then she got to big.

Default Vaterra body fit

Yes the Vaterra predrilled bodies will fit IF you get the off set piece for the front posts that comes with the Vaterra chassis or with a body post set. . It pins on the RS4 post top hole. It off sets the holes outward about 1/4 inch. With out these the holes are incorrect. I have both Vaterra and RS4 and swap bodies often. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the response. But I'm having a hard time understanding. Apologies for my nooby ness.

So if I'm understanding right, the stand on the rs4 miss the body hole by 1/4 inches?

If so where can I get the offset accessories.

Thanks

Installed the YR steering rack and Exotek turnbuckles. I added a small shim behind the uprights to remove the slack. Steering center randomness is gone! Played with the toe a bit to try and get better tracking at speed, had it pretty good with 1* toe out.

Then I bumped a tire and broke 3 turnbuckles

Titanium replacements on the way, along with a clear wide Porsche body, 31/34mm wheels and front tires. Rear tires are on backorder for 2 months, and the 34mm tire size was invented just for that wheel. Might try 31mm all around in the meantime.

Those curbs always seem to get in the way. Nice to hear the setup has improved. The tires have been on b/o from Hpi for some time...I'm going to have some foams made for the stock wheels also contact carbon wheels are another option I don't like using 31mm all the way around with the Falken wide body...looks out of place.

Been working on a custom headlight setup and also want to try out the high speed gear set for one of my Falkens.

Some of the guys I run with are using foams on RJ Speed cars, they really struggle with traction. Running on a completely unprepared parking lot certainly isn't the best surface.

I've learned to avoid curbs, that AMG G63 parked out back snuck up on me

I'm planning to do Yeah aluminum upgrade down the road. Besides the CVD breaking rarely, what the review on the whole kit.

Pro / cons or should I go straight GPM parts?

Looks like the tires for the Porsche are still on back order. Any other suggestion for grip tires that fit the offset stock rims?
