The velcro idea can't work. It's too simple. I'm totally trying this out as soon as I get off work. 👍

Default Bent lower arm.

I bent my front lower Yeh Racing arm on its first run. I also tried the velcro under the steering but it doesnt seem to be working for me. But man am i bummed about bending that arm.

Lol. Yeah I didn't know that. Live and learn I guess. I have bent it back in to shape, mostly. Worst case I can rock out my old plastic lower arm. Sure looked good though.

LOL I've been using the full YR aluminum kit on my Sprint 2 for years now and have had no issues with any of their parts. I use their aluminum adjustable dampers also. In fact, my ONLY problem with them is that 2 of the set screws for the lower arms in the RS4 kit weren't tapped to accept a hex driver.

I'm guessing you hit something pretty hard/fast? By the looks of it, I doubt anything other than maybe steel would have held up in that situation.

Ok I can see how you would think I hit somthing hard and fast and if you saw my awesome driving skills you would normally be right. However this time I flipped in to a ditch after catching my left tire on the grass. Landing on my lid in water. Must be some out side forces at play here. I wasn't very nice to guy last night maybe karma kicked me. Lol.

I was wondering about that. Their fans seem to do OK though.

Put the rear spool in last night and switched out the 40t hpi bevel gears to the Ultra lightweight machined alloy Exotek diff gears there so much lighter and well constructed over then the stock hpi bevel gears. Going to run just one spool and go from there.

Remaining mods this week the hpi aluminum shock upgrade build, 70t Robinson Race Spur, hpi carbon towers / bumper brace, carbon center drive shaft cover/chassis stiffer.

GPM has just released their aluminum lower arms. They appear a little more bulky (as usual) than the Yeah Racing.

Default Not enough traction

Help My setup has to much power. How can I get all the power to get traction? I know I can't go full throttle and expect to have traction. But when i'm half into the throttle & try go go FULL THROTTLE it just kicks sideways. What changes can I make without losing power? Is there better tires then the original tires? Softer tires for ash-fault? Higher gears? Please help

Sounds like you need a good tune with a Castle Link programmer.
If you have a Castle Creations system (HPI Flux) the Castle Link is invaluable.
