I'll see if I can get a hold of the papers, we had the AAA fill them out and were going to make copies to give out to the various magazines, so I *think* Billy has the originals.

P.S. Imagine what Kimi could do with a good car...........

The thing Alonso doesn't have going for him is winning a championship with a lesser car with less horsepower than the other teams ala Shumey with his 1st championship.
Very true. Speaking of winning championships on not the fastest or best machine, look no further than The Doctor in 04 and 05 on the M1. I like F1, but it's no MotoGP.

Yeah...that guy is impressive but so was Montoya early on. Hamilton may have a better chance in modern F1 since he is a smooth driver with great overtaking skills. Montoya has always been a hard charger and his engineers have always struggled to get him a car that can be run at 10/10ths (Juan's normal pace...lol).

Adrian,

I am huge Montoya fan...I just seems that the Mclaren car always understeers and he has adjusted to it however at the expense of lap times. His low fuel laps with Williams a couple of year ago were impressive.

Montoya is a throw back to old school w.f.o drivers of years past...the technology of modern car is impressive however it somewhat takes away the pure skill of driving at 10/10ths along with the lame knock out qual.

Jamie

!!!!! I think we need a f1 thread !!!!!! lol.

I am also a Montoya fan. I agree, it seems very few today drive as hard and agressive as he does. Not that the others don't drive hard, but his style is like he has a strangle hold on the car.
