Default how hot can a 540 motor get?

hi,
i am just running 540 mubachi motor. i like to get to the track early for practice... i pretty much pratice for 4 packs of batteries, with a minor break for tire changes and adjustments, so for about 60minutes or so pretty much non stop....

just wondering if it does damage to the motor to run them too long without taking a break to let them cool down?

cheers

My motors in onroad are usually coming off at 160*, or there abouts. Haven't had a problem yet.

After a 5 minute race indoors, geared 44/90, the motor comes off moderately hot but you can keep your finger on and not get burnt. 44/96 and its just warm. Id say running for pretty much an horu non-stop would be bad for the motor and the esc but if it brakes then there only like $15 to replace.
