TC4 gearing

I have tc4 and why do my motor and spreed controler gets so hot when I run with TC4. I only run like 5 minutes for each battery. I've tried gearing from like 6.8 to 8.1 and I dont understand it just doesnt work. all drivetrains are very smooth and theres enough space between the spur and pinion ... when I run my xray with the same motor and same speedcontroler and same battery, they cool...no matter how long I run...does anyone know whats worng with my TC4?

it could be that your xray gets more colling that ur tc since the tc is like a tub it doesnt get as much air flow as ur xray
