Default Rubber Tires On Carpet

We run on carpet at our track, looking on the weeb I found I could buy a full sorex tyre set for $30, I was looking as my foams tend to be pretty much useless after 45runs in tamiya class, I understand rubbers would get less grip and I was looking at the sorex 24r tires, how many runs do you think I could get out of them.

Sorex 24s with hpi blue front and hpi green rear inserts is what i used to run in rubber stock sedan. Great grip fairly good lifespan.

But your going from foam to rubber? If your racing against foam cars you will be at a huge disadvantage. LEss traction and much more rotating mass,

At our track a set(4) of Jaco's runs $30 and a set of Twister's runs at $24.If foam tires are cheaper, hook up a lot better, and get a lifespan close to rubber, I would stick with foams.
