Default AMB personal transponder and 2 channel receivers

Concerning the personal transponder, AMB's website says:
Power feed: from a free receiver channel (ch3 or batt)

and their brochure says:
Connection Plug : Standard servo plug

There is no other information anywhere on their site. Their FAQ's are empty concerning their transponders. I searched the forums, but couldn't find anything on this topic.

I have a 2 channel Novak XXL FM receiver. Can I plug the personal transponder into my battery slot on the receiver?

Mike, is that an additional option to putting it in the empty battery slot? I'd prefer to use the empty battery slot over a Y cable.

qwerty. thanks for your reply, however, if you read my post, you'd see that I don't have a free channel. Therefore the question was, can I use the battery slot.

Default MOunting Personal Transponder

Does anyone have any pointers on where to mount the Transponder? I mounted it on the chassis with one layer of servo tape and I picked up a glitch somewhere.

Any help?

I have only had the transponder cause a glitch when it is touching the receiver, but try moving farther from where your receiver is mounted.
