The "wimpy" motor was made/assembled by Lee Morrisson at Wimpy Motors and Gonzo batteries.
He is still in business and still winds some of the most powerfull mods I've ever ran.
I can't remember his web link, but I can hook you up with his phone number if you need it.

My first stock motor of course was the kit motor that came with the grass hopper but I soon replaced it with a Lemans 240st I also have a new 240st mounted in a Parma pro panther 10th on road that I have never used(car was never finished)....

I can't remember my first stock motor, but my first mod was a Revtech 22D, ran it in my Bolink Bandito 1/12th scale...

I thought i was supremely cool when i got my Race Prep stocker with the ceramic armature shaft,lol. I was the coolest kid around,lol.

Had the Trinity P2K in my old Tamiya TL-01. At the time I thought the motor sucked..now that I think about it, the top of the line battery pack available at the LHS was a 1100mah NiCd.

Trinity Monster (still have it) "1985 World" was in a 28" boat Kyosho (deep V) boat,
swimming pool, boat was out of pool destroyed in seconds, motor
still runs, Makita 9.6 Batts out of my cordless drill ran this thing.
