Default New personal best-128 mph

I did a few tweaks to the tc4 including: slightly decreased the front toe, replaced a missing grub screw from the front sway bar, changed the 40wt shock oil to 80wt, and raised the timing from lowest to highest.

Did 2 passes yesterday. The first pass the car was running over some pebbles and small twigs at the end of the track and was bouncing around and hit 123 mph.

I then went and swept all the pebbles and twigs to the side of the rd and made another pass and hit 128 mph!

The car goes much straighter now. Probably the straightest it's ever gone. I was thinking about doing one more pass but I decided to quit while i was ahead haha.

I'm coming for Phildoggg!! Lol jk.

Thanks Phil. Its kinda crazy how fast these little things can get with just common off the shelf parts. I only got back into RC less than a year ago after at least 6 or 7 years and I had no idea electric had gotten so advanced.

Heres a couple pics I snapped yesterday. Man I need a new body! lol. But hey......Function>Form

Nice Phil! I like the front splitter. Looks like your running toe out in front? No weights in front?

Only thing missing is a Cordova motor lol jk

Yeah a little toe out, makes it easier to steer. Not really a splitter it goes under the body and seals it. Thanks.. I may go cordova one day soon..

Mite have to try some toe out. So no weights? I wouldnt even attempt a speed run without weights on my car. Too many blowovers in the past with this little car. But maybe the "splitter" of yours does just as a good a job?

Nice speed! I'm curious what your "calculated speed" is in order to run 137mph? Using this calculator - http://www.scriptasylum.com/rc_speed/top_speed.html

Mine isnt a splitter, it takes up the room from the bumper to the body and keeps the air out of the front.

Do you know how many amps you're pulling? And what amp rating is your motor and what battery are you using?
