Default Team Energy X10TC

anyone have any experience with these Team Energy X10 chassis from Nitro RCX? http://www.nitrorcx.com/88c211-x10tc...d-rtr-24g.html

They look pretty awesome and the adjust ability looks promising. The price looks pretty good too for brushless and the programmable radio.

I'd stay away. For around 300 $ you can get a Spec-R S2 with a sensored combo, a Sanwa servo and a Sanwa MXV radio. Granted, it would still need tires and a body... but it would be so, SO much better than this.

From what I can see online the Spec-R S2 is only offered as a KIT, I think the X10 might be better for someone that just wants to purchase a vehicle that is already set up out of the box. I've assembled KIT vehicles before and it took me a better part of a day just to get everything done and set up correctly. From what I can find online the radio system that comes with the X10 has the exact same features as the radio that comes with the X10. In my opinion you cannot really get a good brushless sensored combo and chassis and the other things you mentioned and still be within your quoted $300 price range.

Its the exact same as the RGT-R2. There is a thread on here for it, if you find it you will have all the info and where to find all the hop ups you will want. The car drives well for a fully prebuilt out of the box car as a USVTA car.
