RCMits, the red ones were 1200 SCR's. I think the Yellow ones were 1500 SCE's, but if you didn't take VERY good care of them they would go POOF! Very cool to see when you are 16 .

I think what these guys are saying about the say smaller capacity and higher voltage for stock is if it has the same volts rating or higher than the 3700's, then its average should be the same as a 3700 or 3800 if calculated for only the amount used. Take that with a cell that weighs less, it allows the driver to tune more with weight placement and should help stock out(or reduce the weight minimum of stock class).
But of coarse I still feel STOCK is WAYYYYYYYYYY TOOOOOOOOOOOO fast and should be slowed down a lot(be 1/4-1/3 slower than it is now), but that is a different subject.

In 1978 my RC12E came with a General Electric white stick pack. Probably 1200's . They were really bad.

I remember my first pack was tamyia 8.4V for the big wig, don't know what's in there. then comes the never ending batteries shopping list
