I have a question I want to put IRS pin cushions on my Yokomo BD dog bones so I can run a Aluminum Spool with out wearing out the out drives does anyone know what tool I can get to pull the pins out so I can put the IRS pin cushions in and where to buy it from also if there is any pictures so i can see what the Tool looks like any help would be greatly appreciated

you could cut the pin, then grind it flush with the bone, then knock it out, I know that is what I have done on CVD's before.

Or.....You can do like I did several years ago. next time you go to a auto parts store, they usually have that bargan tool table with cheapo tools. Pick up a set of the pliars with the two position jaw. take one side of the pliars and cut a slot in it with the Dremel. Now you can place the shaft in the pliars and when you press down the pin will go into the slot. Do the opposite to reinstall. Bout 3 bucks.

The hudy tool is the way to go it's by far the best way to ensure you dont do any damage to your bones.
I have one and it works awsome and makes the job 10 times easier I have actualy ruined a couple of CVD's trying to use pliars and punches etc it is not worth it especialy when there is a tool made just for the job. And pin cusions do wear out so you will have to press them out every now and then so do yourself a favor and go with the hudy tool you will not regret it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just chuck one side of the pin in a drill press and hold the cvd so it can't move. turn on the press and pull down on the cvd it will spin it right out with no damage or bending to the cvd. A high torque handheld drill would do the same thing.

That's the easiest way I've found and works every time.
