Can anyone tell me what's the best motor to buy and the winning motor for race?, down below is the requirement for race.

Motor must have a 24 degree fixed-timing can and endbell, the comm must be tagged - eg
"EPIC 19" - and may have either 27 turns of 24 AWG wire or 19 turns of 19 AWG wire.
(Note - this differs from ROAR's 19 turn rules - motors must have fixed timing and may not be
hand wound.)

I hope you can help me out I will be running a Yokomo CGM Special.

For 27T:

The Trinity Monster Stock is the only choice. It is the fastest motor for all on road classes.

For 19T:

For sedan racing the Reedy Quad Magnet 19T is the current fast motor. It has tons of torque and is extremely fast.

If you are running 1/12th the Trinity C2 is the fastest. The Reedy is too inefficient for 8 min 1/12th racing this is why the C2 is better.

Both of these motors meet all your rules requirements.

My dad and I have liked our chamelon 2's better in our sedans. We haven't tried the reedy's that much though. I do agree the monster stock is the only way to go. -Shaggy

The C2's are good in sedans but they have very weak stock class magnets in them compared to the Reedy and Orion 19T motors. If you overheat them once the magnets lose a lot of power. The easy way to tell if this has happened is if all the sudden your motor draws half the amps it used to when you cut the comm and put new brushes in it. If this happens you need to get the can zapped to bring the magnet back up.

Reedy and Orion 19T motors use modified class magnets and are way more resistant to heat.

You should give them a shot. Just remember you have to gear up 3-4 teeth on the pinion when you switch from a C2 to a Reedy QM 19 and 4-5 teeth for the Orion Element 19 with the regular endbell. For the V2 version of the Orion 19 you have to gear up 6-7 teeth from the ratio you would use on a C2.

This is how we gear our 19T's at my Local 140x70 asphalt track.

Final drive ratios:

Trinity C2 - 6.35
Reedy QM19 - 5.70
Orion/Peak Element 19/Vantage 19 Laydown brush endbell - 5.40
Orion/Peak Element 19/Vantage 19 V2 endbell - 5.15

both have crazy amounts of power, rpms, very fast motors! I run 27t, nothin but eXpress, good batteries,too.

I did not see you mention the Atlas 19t M1902R from Integy or direct from Atlas. What is your opinion on this motor for 4 cell 12th scale PanCar racing?
