Default Storing my gear in a hot garage?

Well my wife finally kicked me out of the cozy formal dining room and into the hot garage. As I live in Texas and the garage can get into the upper 90's and even low 100's will my gear (batteries, electronics, etc.) be at risk? I am considering buying a wine frig for my batteries but am concerned of moisture. Anyone have any tips besides adding air conditioning?

Can you compromise, and keep the temperature sensitive stuff hidden in the closet inside or something? I could hide my battery case just about anywhere.

I could put I like having all my stuff together. Was just curious if the heat would affect the gear and if so if anyone had a solution. I like the idea of using a wine refrig that cools down to 68 degrees but again not sure if it generates any moisture.

Hi james,
just ensure it has good air ventilation..
suggest to keep BATTERY box and RADIO (better in radio carry bag) inside your home, others i think can left at garage..

I think it is time you worry more about the cold than heat....
It got down to 45 this morning and although batteries like to stay cool. Cold can mess with cells as much as heat.
More that the crystalization process could be enhanced.
Just my thoughts not 100% sure but hey worse case you woudl have to bring in your packs and radio...The rest really isn't heat/cold sensitive.
