We are thinking of adding a sub floor at our track but wondering what other tracks have used for wood and such?

on cement, 2x4 16 inch on center, laying on the 4 inch side.

just make sure you stagger the 2 x 4 ( leave some hanging out over the edge on one sheet and under on the next )so you can interlock the pieces together length wise..

If Cristian wants to put a sub floor in he can call me anytime. I'll be happy to walk him through how to get it done right. I've been to all of the sub-floored tracks I know of and have taken notes and pictures at each.

This isn't Cristian doing the subfloor. There are a few racers that would like to improve the track. Cristian is supplying the space as it is and can't afford to put money into the track so it's up to all of us racers to pitch in and help if we want improments done. So we are trying to get some cost and funding for it. We don't want to go overboard and we dont want to be too cheap where it is a wasted effort. Andrew, I'd love to talk about it.
