Foam tire wear...front to rear

Foam tire wear...front to rear
My TC4 FT sedan is setup for stock on carpet and I run double pink rear, double pink/orange fronts. I am running the baseline setup for carpet that came with the kit. My problem is that I keep going through front foams at a MUCH faster rate than rears...is this common? I start my foams at 58mm and I am averaging 15-20 packs of life on the fronts (down to rim) while the rears are still hovering around 57mm.
Any suggestions and/or insight?

I experienced the same thing last weekend (2mm wear in front and .5mm wear at the rear) and I attribute it to the "Push" that comes with that particular set up. I am going to try some different things this weekend to cure it.
Step one will be take off the sway bar. Step two will be turn down my dual rate. 85% or less should be good. We will see from there. Good luck...

Justin, the problem is the fact that you keep trying to mix your dirt driving style and your carpet driving style. You need to drag Matt up on Tuesday nights and bring your carpet cars and learn the way of the lint gods while we all bask in the curing aroma-theropy<sp?> of Paragon.

Try purple/orange fronts. They may last a little longer.

Hey Tim, put your sedan down with me and McCready and we'll consider it. Muuuaaaaa!

I'm not familiar with the TC4 FT, but if the weight distribution is front heavy (like the FK05) and/or you run a stiff front end setup, then the front tires will be worked harder for traction and wear more. Its actually not a bad thing ($$$ withstanding) concerning performance if the car's front end is glued in the corners and not pushing on or off power.
With my current FK05 setup and running purple/orange fronts and double pink rears, my fronts are wearing .1mm more per run. But the front is stuck like George Jefferson under Nel Carter.

The easiest thing is to use a harder spring, thats the only advice I can give.

naturally no matter what unless your drifting in every corner, the 4wd nature of the car will cause the tires to wear more in the front, you just have to keep ride height in check (f/r).
