Converting Tamiya glow to electric
 

Hi ya'll. I recently was gifted a used Tamiya TG-10 from a buddy of mine who got it from some friends of his. It's in good shape, needs a little TLC. I was wondering if anybody has successfully converted this chassis from glow to electric. Not worried about racing it, just want to take it to a big parking lot and play. I'm on the fence on this, as I've never had a glow powered car, but converting this chassis to electric would make it a little more convienient to play with spur of the moment.

Hi cashrc,

The original Tamiya TG-10 chassis is shared with the Tamiya TB01. You will need everything between the gearboxes to make the conversion. Parts for the chassis are getting hard to find, however. You'd have more luck buying a whole rolling chassis and using your TG10 for parts.
