Default Please read if you have a Yokomo MMS

I just purchased a Yokomo MMS used and when I got it I didn't get the motor plug. What is the motor plug? The manual shows it having two colors, can I take a pinion and paint one side? or is this a magnet thing.

You can take a pinion and paint one side white and the other black and it will work. Yokomo does sell extra ones too.

Yeah, you can paint it or use white and black electrical tape or whatnot. You can even do this with a cooling fan. I've seen a friend do this at the track with his.
