Default Drag brake with throttle trim?

I have been thinking about trying to get a bit of drag braking by setting the throttle trim such that in the neutral throttle position, the transmitter (an Airtronics M11 in this case) sends a brake signal.

Please share your thoughts on the advantages and disadvantages of this approach.

TIA,
Ira

For 1/12th scale stock I turn up the trim to create roll , helps with the corner speed .
