Can the battery be mounted transversely or in line only in the F110 SF2?

Inline and there are 2 positions. Forward and rearwards it also moves the servo fore and aft so you've got complete control over the weight distribution. I don't think transverse is needed the car is very compact.

Thinking of picking one of these up since I love my s411 and sometimes being different from the xrays and tamiyas out there is a pleasant change- but I don't hear alot of press on the sf2.... I race mostly asphalt but may venture to carpet once the weather gets bad. Any long-ish term reports from the serpent fan club...

I just picked up Fran F110 SF2 roller.
I have to say I'm Extremely excited to get into racing F1. I'm more of a Nitro GT8 racer but I'm dabbling into EP carpet racing for 2016 so any help is appreciated.
2 years ago our Texas Series had the opportunity to hold a race at the Circuits of the America track in Austin, TX. It was a treat!! I ran my Serpent Cobra Gt and got 3rd and raced a Tamiya F104 and ended up 3rd as well. Knowing Serpent quality at hand I have high hopes to do well here in the USA.
Check out the link of the event it was pretty awesome to have real F1 cars driving in the background. http://www.redrc.net/2013/08/southwe...rt/#more-69734
