It seems they forgot a zero, because it's become 100,- (including tax) more than the old F110.

The final price:
350,- including tax or ~$300,- excluding tax (for all non-eu buyers).
10% more they said, not 10,-

Also the Euro / Dollar rate, got a hit of about 25%.....

just to get the facts straight.

Regardless of the price, it does seem to be a very complete kit. I've been looking through the parts list & it looks great.

To fill this topic with a bit more imagery, here's some of the parts:

The adjustable front wing which can be used for all different F1 classes. Available in black and white.

Very nice looking chassis

The front top suspension plate, beautifully crafted from carbon with spacing.

The front has a detailed instruction in the manual on how to either build it with the Rigid Suspension (A, with the front spring) or with the Flex Suspension (B, with shims)

Can you change the spring rate with the flex assembly?

Flex plate without up and down droop stops are a bad idea

Just getting back into on road, and will be picking this up to run as a second class. Super excited! So a while back I saw a picture of a f1 (don't remember which chassis) that had a rear carbon diaplane, is this common, and if so does it help? Looking to build the car with any of the necessary goodies.

Have you run the car to make this assumption? What do I know about flex plates without droop stops you seem to have all the answers! Maybe hold of bagging the car till somebody local actually gets one and shows it's potential. FWIW Slaven and his design team are innovators. I'm sure there is a reason for it otherwise they wouldn't waste their time on it. But again what would he know!

Nope I don't actually know anything. I am just a keyboard warrior..

But I have run a yokomo Yrf for over 2 seasons. And there was a reason why they designed an updated bulkhead with additional stops. Me, I prefer the kingpin springs.

And to add, I was lucky and only ever broke 1, my that part looks familiar.

Strange as Serpent UK are advertising the SF2 for 220.00 including 20% tax (VAT). That's about 306 euro at todays rate or $326 and so it makes it very good value to buy in the UK rather than overseas (like HK shops for example) where the additional shipping charge is like $40-60. The current $- exchange rate makes buying RC stuff at home far more cost effective now - I'm not saving anything anymore buying overseas and so that's got to be good for the local hobby shops.

The old F110 is still retailing for $279 (195) and the SF2 $297 (220) so to be honest it does look like Serpent are holding their word of a 10 euro or so increase over the original F110, granted it is slightly more than 10 euro but that's mainly due to the worlds exchange rates going a bit mad recently. The SF2 does look a far more complete chassis than the original and to me will be worth the extra.

My pre-order is in with Serpent UK! Can't wait to get it...

benzah why do you assume instantly that somebody else is bagging a car out, for god sake everybody has opinions and since the front end is similar to the yokomo they are more than likely to act in a similar way. Start listening to others and stop assuming your right
