Default Car Question

I'm in the market for a new touring car, can not decide between the associated TC6.2, Xray T4 (2014 or 2015) or a Team Durango DETC410. any reason why 1 is better than the other, will be running on a prepped asphalt track.

Xray t4 very durable car and very easy to drive. Also tons of support for setups and parts. Then the tc6.2 is also a good choice but you must get the reflex racing upgrades for it.
And the car is a bit more fragile than the Xray, if you are experienced then you shouldn't crash to much. So either one would suffice. I cannot say anything about the team Durango as I have never driven one or seen one in person.

Just went and looked at the Team Durango, and to my understanding it just looks like an xray t4 14 copy by the way the sway bars are mounted.

+1 for xray but you should switch durango for tamiya 419 or yokomo Db7!

They are basically all the same, but AE is the cheapest with lots more parts support for a much longer time than the rest of them...

I've had TC6.2 and Xray T4 - Xray is worth the extra money and I wouldn't hesitate for a second to buy another Xray. The quality is far superior to TC6.2, and in the long run the XRAY will be cheaper due to less breakages.

If you're willing to consider other cars, then the VBC D07 and Yokomo BD7 are very fine cars to consider too

I think that by the time you get the Durango hopped up to where it needs to be, you would have been better off just getting the Xray....

Another question that should answer itself. You're comparing yesterday's cars with one of the best of today.

PS. If the BD7/2015 made the list, now that would have been a dilemma.

If you're going to spend the money, get the latest and greatest. Xray is going to be good straight out of the box. Couple of very fast Yokomos at the track and probably another joining the mix this season. 😉.
