Default I can't get my favorite SMC packs, now what?

I am addicted to the SMC lipos. Stick pack 6000 that you can no longer get. I think they were about $45 or so.

I really like these better than anything else i have tried. Have stayed very consistent between the two packs, no puffing and very consistent through the entire run.

Running these 1/10 TC 17.5

Any suggestions on like batteries?

What happened, did Danny say anything why they were gone? I'm running the 6000 race formula packs too. So far they have been good.

You could always check out teamscreamracing.com

The 5000 packs would be equivalent to the 6000 packs of course they are 1000 mah less however the punch is right there with them. If you are looking for a slightly better battery than the 5000 then check out the 7600. They are designed for a 4x4 or a high amp draw rc. But they do not swell I've been charging at 30 amps for 6 months or more. They also do not drop off until you get way down into the battery which takes 15 or more minutes of race environment. Crazy low ir with a battery that doesnt drop off.

The orca packs and turnigy ultimate packs are good for performance and value.

Orca makes a LIPO pack that is more value oriented than their high end packs as well.

Bummer. The IR on the SMC batteries was better than anything else I ever tested.

I hope Danny gets a vendor sorted out. He's a class act. Most other people would have just kept selling the garbage, and he didn't.

I use smc batteries and there IR are around 1.5 that is high quality battery at a reasonable price. I was just on the smc website he has more batteries today then he had last week. I hope Danny gets batteries back in stock and I will wait till he get some before I buy some where else. I charged my 4 month old 6000mah and they had a IR of 1.7/1.8 in each cell. I use them almost every weekend.

Yeah these have been awesome. I have run everything from cheaper Venom to Reedy and Orion high end stuff as well as even tried Protek. For me nothing has compared to the SMCs for punch, no puffing, consistency through out the entire run. Also both batteries feel the exact same in the car when driving.

I dont mind spending the money but i find these batteries the best i have used and really want the same performance and characteristics as these.

Agree here and total respect for that. I will be back when he gets a new vendor.

I agree on the IR numbers. mine started off at around 1.5/1.7 for both packs respectively. now after a year they are fast approaching the 5 mark for resistance. and starting to lose punch and feeling softer. dont get me wrong they are still great packs but its time to freshen up. they would be good for a rookie thats just getting into racing to buy. no puffs or anything. just good quality performance over the last year. Im just looking for more power now. and smc does not have what i need at the moment.
