It is so sad if they closed. we keep going to this track for about 2 months for practice for Tamiya's world. It is about 2 hours driving each way from our home.

Regretfully, HDRC is no more. The owner Jerry retired and the son Mike (Spanky) joined the air force and shipped out to boot camp. In fact I believe all the pit tables are now at the Dialed In RC Raceway at the Fairgrounds for 1/8 nitro off road racing.

I'm bummed too as I loved having this track so close. It was a great place to spend my off road racing 'off season' as touring car was where it all began for me.

There has been some talk about Dave at coyote expanding and adding a carpet onroad track, but I think right now it is just talk.

Best of luck Jerry and Spanky, hope to see you guys around the rc tracks in the future.

Cheers,

BK
