Switching to a Sanwa SRG HS will save you 10 grams

Default Official Pictures of the RR12 T2!!!

Many have copied the RR12's revolutionary concepts, but once again, RSD and it's team of developers are ready to raise the bar even further. The all new T2 includes the following updates:

-New and Improved Aluminum parts
-Std 7075-T6 Aluminum Chassis Made from Genuine Thyssen Krup materials,
-Std Weave Quasi-Isotropic Carbon Fiber parts
-AE Ballcups/ Pivots/ Links
-Standard sized servo mount
-RSD Damper Tubes
-Xenon Plastic Front End Parts
-New Motor Mount Compatible with 25-30mm fan (no thicker than 10mm) and adjustable motor height
-IRS ball differential with Xenon 16 Ball Spur Gear
-Team Prime Premium 12th Scale Shock

As with out RR12 V2, the T2 comes with our own proprietary double wishbone front end. . We do believe that the double A-Arm, once properly set up is faster than the traditional front ends we are all used to using. All our tests have indicated this so far. The Double wishbone front suspension makes the car easier to drive, is easier to set up and adjust, all while keeping a weight that is the same or lower as more simple front ends available in the market today.

The Big innovation this time around is the brand new, compact slider motor mount. This mount is lighter and has a much lower CG than the previous version, allows for the adjustment of motor height and also integrates fan mounting positions to keep your motor cooler during races. We have seen motor temperatures drop between 10-30 degrees Fahrenheit, which translates into a car that fades far less during an 8 minute race, especially in spec racing. The design was also optimized to make the motor mount have a better balance as well as have a more symmetrical design for more even turning left to right and a car that accelerates straighter than before.

Love the look on the T2. Any chance the manual will be posted? Wanna take a better look at the front end!

You guys have a set date of when the manual for the 12th is going to be release?

Also seeing how you guys "officially" released the kit, I hope the kit comes in some sort of official box and not in a priority box with a few pieces of race day print out results as packing material.

Any feedback for the T2 on the old style(grey) carpet?

The manual is almost ready. The pictures are all done and now just putting the file together.

The box is still the same white box we have always used. It would be nice to have a printed design box, but the cost is not something we can justify due to the limited production of the car. If we were making 300pcs per year it would be one thing, but we actually move much, much less units than that. When quoting boxes, they want a minimum of 1000-2000 boxes and that is simply not something we can affordbto do at the time. Our margins are extremely small on the car.

The T2 does really good on the grey carpet. It drives different than the V2, but it actually does very similar laptimes and some people actually prefer it as well.

New car looks great, one question. Are the new motor mount /pod plates able to fit on the older V2 that I have?

Yes, they will work. It does use a different rear cross brace though as the distance between the pod is less, with the T2 pod being 3mm lower, the T2 one won't work. However we have those available.

I run mostly 13.5 on Grey carpet.

I have a V2 with Xenon front end and a T2 with the IFS. My V2 is very stable and easy to drive.

From the get go I liked the T2. After some time with it I feel the T2 cuts in better and loving the IFS.

I'm a bit faster with the T2 at the end of the runs, as the fan keeps the motor from fading as much.

Both my cars are at 730gms.
