You're not using a screw to mount the fan? Any reason for this? Parts available? The vibration from the fan running must be very noticeable.

I say use whatever lipo you want. Tested the car with long and short and I like both, I don't have a square lipo so I can't comment but it should before similar to the shorty.
In fact i use short dampers but not big bores, due swap from my tb04 which i no longer run.
Honestly, i try use ride short springs, but failed due the diameter are too large without plastic rings.
I use nylon ties instead of screws, due that part is easy to suffering on crash.
From my latest try with Yokomo short shocks, i can say they work perfectly

Thanks for share, BTW i don't think that i need opt. tower, since i even need use yokomo short shocks which can fit normal length springs. My best thing to do is extend the shocks as b20 did which has same problem.

About alu chassis, i used before on med. traction carpet race but don't have good impressions.

I guess this is the best thing to do since you buy a chassis Made in China.

I was going to use them but I couldn't adjust the eyelet. My kit came with the eyelet CA and the shock lengths were really off.

I've never driven any other FF but so far i'm happy with the performance. I can't really complain for price and performance this car is a winner.

True about the ride springs, if I didn't have the big bore's it wouldn't work. Good idea about the zip ties, I can see potential death to the fan crashes.

I'm sure you already know, the TRF shocks are super smooth. It ran really well with zero rebound on this large outdoor track.

Track I tested it on. I didn't race because entry was too low, instead focused on my 17.5 TC.

I don't know the exact dimensions but it's effn huge, in 17.5 TC I was geared 3.3-3.4 FDR and it wasn't enough.
