Default Budget Cone Domes

I just took a piece of thick carboard:

Cut a 15 inch circle out of it (used a string tied with a nail and pencil on each end--then poked the nail in the center to draw a perfect circle).

Then I folded the carboard in half in several directions to make it look like a bunch of pie shapes.

Then I cut from the center straight to the edge on one of the folds.

Then I overlapped the cardboard along the cut a couple of inches to make a cone and stapled (or tape) a few times along the edge.

Works great!

My buddy and I have been using plastic dinner plates upside down purchased at the old walmart for 88 cents each. Somethimes they move a little when you hit them but they dont damage the car.

Take you plastic dinner plates and fill them with quick-crete...
quick setting concrete. now they will be heavy enough so they don't move. And if you have the usual plastic dots... you can use it as a mold... and make several condrete dots.

When i wanted track markers i just looked in the Yellow pages for sporting supply wholesalers and after a few calls i was put on to someone who sold me some flouro orange plastic sports ground markers and 7 Inch tall flouro witches hats for $1.60 Australian. For that price i couldn't argue....... If anyone in Australia would like the contacts number just let me know...
