I purchased 2 of them through the HRP sale. First race this past weekend (VTA and USGT) Qualified 4th VTA and 5th USGT a-mains (Club points race with 70+ entries). Used the basic X-ray carpet set-up and they were both competitive out of the box. The car is an X-ray clone, most X-ray parts will fit and X-ray set ups will apply. I am extremely happy with the car. You do need to work on getting the Gear Diff set right during build. Other than that everything went together great. I was running the Schumacher MI-5 prior to these.

I saw the sale ad from HRP and it is a great price for what you get. I have been running a TC10 for a year now.

It is a T4 clone, so a T4 set-up is a good place to start. Good kit with most of the upgrades that you may want. The only aftermarket part I have added was the double jointed drive shafts, in the front. Pick up a set of 20mm Spec-R shock springs, and you are good to go.

There is a thread for the TC10 here, on RCTech.

Great info to have. It looked really similar to the Xray. I have Xray parts as it is so perhaps this will be a good choice. How is the plastics quality? That is my main concern.

So far plastic seems to be of good quality, I was also concerned about this prior to purchase. After build and first weekend of racing it appears that the plastic is on point.

Do you know how easy/hard it is to get parts?

My LHS stocks parts. I have ordered from HRP and the service and availability have been great. I purchased a TR10 just for parts ($99.00 - a great deal, Shocks and gear Diff pays for that) and one of the screw heads in the gear diff was striped-out, Team-C sent me replacement parts as warranty. I received within a week. So far I have nothing but good service from my LHS, HRP and Team-C.

Xray arms, c-hubs, steering blocks, diffs and caster blocks all fit on the TC-10. I have only broken an out-drive cup (replaced with the Spec-R spring steel out-drives) and the servo arm (use a servo saver).

The Team CSO-One shares many similar parts also. Middle River Hobbies carry these and they had the 2.5* and 3.5* rear arm mounts, that you may also want/need.

For the price, you can't go wrong with the Team C. Good Luck

Which xray does this car most resembles? I have the sport version of this car and I'm looking to order front and rear swaybars.

Hi! There are several threads about this car. How about we use this one as the main thread...
