Default where do you place your capacitor?

on top of esc? beside esc?

I have a KO Propo VFS-1 and I put the capacitor on top of the esc as this is what the instructions said. I'm not very original, you see.

i saw some people placing their cap on the side by using wires to extend it..will that be good?

Bottom line is you can place it wherever you want as long as the leads are hooked up correctly. I used to lay the cap alongside the ESC but with today's tight chassis that leave very little room for electronics, I lay the cap on top of the ESC itself.

Turns out I actually have a VFS-2000J. Its amazing what you learn when you look at your car.
