2015 Canadian Onroad Nationals - March 19-22, 2015 - Welland ON

I noticed one of the LiveRC tests when I was watching Snowbirds. It'll be really cool if you can get that going. Then I'll be able watch and keep better track of how much time I have, from my hotel room even. Of course it will also be nice for the people who can't attend to watch, but that's secondary to my lounging in the hotel room needs.
The numbers are looking good. Up to 88 racers and 196 entries now.
52 - 17.5 TC
26 - 13.5 TC
18 - Mod TC
45 - CVTA
21 - USGT
18 - 17.5 1/12
16 - Mini

Only 25 days of registration left to get yourself in the Canadian On-Road Nationals.
The driver's count is at 90 with 201 total entries. We're still ahead of last years record numbers with all 7 classes filling in nicely. If we can get a few more 1:12, Mini and TC Mod, then we will have 3 heats in every class. We've never hat that happen in the 5 years we've run this event. Sponsors are already shipping their prizes for the giveaway at Boston Pizza, Saturday night. Car numbers are almost ready to print, trophies are ready to be made, custom wheel tags are ready to be produced. We're getting excited. How about we bring back the magnets like we had a few years ago?

11 days left to register and get your payment in for this years race. We're currently sitting at 99 drivers in 220 entries.
There is an important notice about spec tires on our website main page. It only concerns people that bought tires from another source for us to tag at the track. Please got to www.conrc.com for information. Any questions can be sent to [email protected]

Do batteries have to be ROAR approved? It states in the rules any battery... Just looking for clarification for some guys...

Any hard case with the appropriate cell count for the class.
No, ROAR stamp not needed, although AHK has some good ROAR approved batteries

Can't help you with the 1/12 question as I've never ran it, but 17.5 TC not a handout motor.
Here is the list of approved motors for the race: http://home.cogeco.ca/~conrc/rules_brushless.html

I don't think he's bringing any to sell, but I can't confirm that. One of our local dealers might have some on hand at the track. I'll try to remember to ask him tomorrow when I go racing.
