Do Canadians run little snow chains on their touring cars if its still icy?

The stock spec RX3 motors aren't on ROAR's approved list yet, even though I heard they had passed inspection a while ago. So that would be up to the race organizers if they want to add them. I'm curious about this too.

Update:
ORCA VX3 ESC and RX3 motors have been added to the lists
Excellent, thanks!

Here's a video I recorded at the 2012 race. Posting to give everyone at least a rough idea of what this very unique and fun race looks like. Some of the shops have changed as well as the drivers' stand position relative to the lamp posts. Also I'm not sure who the RD will be this year, but this is the place.

Currently there are 60 drivers signed up with a total of 140 entries. Track opens for practice 2 months from today.

The final registration cutoff is March 15. January 31 at midnight is the early bird cutoff. Signup and pay before then and you get to pick your car number for the weekend. I'm #7. I want one of Bazzer's 00 stickers so I can be 007.

This is a fantastic race each year and I can't wait for the 2015 edition.

Racing in a mall with 3 deep spectators the whole way around is such a fun and unique atmosphere. The race directors make sure that racers having fun is the #1 priority, highlighted by an awesome driver social and prize draw on Saturday night. Competition is getting fierce at the top too between native sons Hebert & Hardman, trying to fend off top US drivers Lemieux & Haynes among over 300 entries. Plus we get to see Dumper attempt to run 7 classes at one race.

Should be another great show this year!

Here's some video posted by one of our sponsors (Action Hobbies Kingsville) from last year's Touring Stock A Main.

Rob Say ran a great race to lead from the pole and take the win. Can he repeat this performance again this year?

Edit: Hey, Dave. How did you embed the video you posted above?

There is a youtube button which adds the right tags and you just put the url in the middle. You also need to change the https to http

I totally forgot that I recorded the 13.5 TC A-main last year. I just noticed my name in related videos after watching the one above. lol. I accidentally uploaded it to my personal account instead of my main "locked" account where all my other videos are.

GL Rob. I'll be happy if I can just manage to do a bit better than I did last year.

The early bird deadline is fast approaching. Some of the classes are at risk right now, unless they get shown some more love soon. If anyone is planning on going, but hasn't signed up yet, you probably should sign up sooner rather than later or some of the classes might not be available. Sign up at www.conrc.com Just click the registration link at the top right.
