With the Spec class The Gate as put together is very closely matched and fun. A cost controlled way to get into racing is great. We have new racers getting excited about the class too. I was talking to a guy at Church last night (I know him and his boy from Off-Road) and after telling him about the Spec class he is coming out to check it out!

I think the class you have going in the UK is great and could get popular here too but again I like the fact that I can move to 17.5 very easily. With a little luck we can get other track in our area to adopt the Gate's Spec class. That way if I want I can travel too.

Good discussion!

Chris
It is a pretty cool home grown idea that gets racers in the door and progressing through the ranks up to mod 12.

I think they really did a good job with the class rules. It's super fun, easy on the wallet and tight racing. I can fit all my R/C gear for race day in one box hauler! (Including the Radio).

Can't wait for the other kits to come out. Mardave and Zen should have some really nice offerings for the class right around the new year. Not to break any allegiances of course, but if the SupaStox GT is this good, how much more refined with the next batch of releases be?

Looks great. Old school front end is solid and proven. Any damping options?

...who won with aforementioned parts on his Corally...albeit on the front end, but they do work on the rear as I used this setup on my Mardave 12 months ago, also on the front of my old Supastox.

New cars all look fantastic, I'm hanging fire until I've seen racing vids and heard feedback but the RSGT12 is looking favourite purely because Spash has had a hand in the design and development.

Same here, the Zen could be the car to get me into GT12

I've decided to take a chance, and get into GT12 with a Zen... We'll see, but it looks very nice!
