it's 14mm hex 
any F1 axle with 6mm diam will fit (speed passion, vbc, TRF101 ...) . what is you tamiya, F103 ?

Not sure about the car .it has a T-plate and friction discs. A regular pan car axle fits perfect. I have several bags of tire 14mm. kind of would like to use them/
